Entrepreneurship is closely connected with the specific social environment which differs between countries and even between regions. The research methodology (GEM research) used in the assessment of business environment is based on the opinions of experts to assess specific conditions of a certain national economy. Recommendations made by the experts mostly refer to the promotion of innovation and entrepreneurial training (43.8%). These were followed by the recommendations referring to government policies (37.5%), with the focus on tax reliefs, establishment of long-term and clear policies for promoting entrepreneurship, and the need to reduce public consumption.
What are the strengths and weaknesses of a family business? How to ensure the transfer of knowledge in a family business to the next generation? What measures should be adopted by the state to provide immediate positive effects on the business sector?
Several examples of good practices from abroad will be presented at the conference (Great Britain, Denmark, Italy, Croatia) and examples of good practices in family business in Slovenia.
Translating will be provided.
Conference programme is available here.
